Good Morning Hack n Players!!
Today we are gonna talk about a silly issue with Rhythmbox (The Gnome music player), I’ve been using Fedora 16 (Verne) for over 5 months and I love it!, It’s a cool distro!.
Today I tried to open the last.fm plugin with my Rhythmbox and I had a problem with the gstreamer which is a media library and Rhythmbox is based on Gstreamer, this was the error:
gstreamer installation is missing a plug-in
I was using VLC as my mp3 player but this morning I was looking for something different hahaha, to fix the above issue you just have to update or install the gstreamer plugins:
sudo yum install gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-ffmpeg
After 10 minutes waiting for it, I was able to use last.fm with Rhythmbox! yeei!
